How the yes or no wheel works
- Think of a question that can be answered with yes or no.
- Click the wheel or its SPIN button. It stops on Yes or No, each with a 50% chance.
- Want a third answer? Tick Add “Maybe”: each answer then gets one chance in three.
- Tick Best of 3: keep spinning, and the first answer to win twice is the verdict.
More than two options? Type them into the wheel spinner.
A trick for hard decisions
Spin the wheel and notice how you feel when it stops. If you are relieved, that is your answer. If you are disappointed and want to spin again, you already knew what you wanted. The wheel just helps you hear it.
Frequently asked questions
Is the result really random?
Yes. Every result is drawn with your browser's cryptographic random generator (the same one used for security), so each entry has exactly the same chance. The spin animation only shows the result; it does not decide it.
Is there an equal chance of yes and no?
Yes: exactly 50% each, or one chance in three each when “Maybe” is on.
Can I use other answers than yes and no?
Yes: use the wheel spinner and type any answers you like.
