Wheel Spinner

Type your names or choices, spin the wheel, and let chance decide. Perfect for giveaways, classrooms, games and tough decisions.

Click the wheel or press Ctrl+Enter to spin.

How to use the wheel spinner

  1. Type your entries in the list, one per line: names, prizes, chores, restaurants…
  2. Click the wheel or its SPIN button (or press Ctrl + Enter). It slows down and stops on a random entry.
  3. In the result window, spin again, or remove the winner to draw the next one without repeats.
  4. Tick “Remove the winner after each spin” to draw a full order automatically, for example who presents first.
  5. Your list is saved on this device. Press Share list to send a link that opens the same wheel.

Need a simple yes or no instead? Use the yes or no wheel. Splitting a group? The random team generator makes fair teams in one click.

Ideas for using a spinning wheel

  • Giveaways: paste the names of everyone who entered, spin live on stream or in a video.
  • Classroom: pick a student to answer, choose a reading order, assign topics.
  • Decisions: what to eat, what movie to watch, who does the dishes.
  • Games: truth or dare, party challenges, random characters or maps.

Frequently asked questions

Is the result really random?

Yes. Every result is drawn with your browser's cryptographic random generator (the same one used for security), so each entry has exactly the same chance. The spin animation only shows the result; it does not decide it.

How many names can I put on the wheel?

As many as you want. Beyond about 100 entries the labels get very small, but every entry keeps the same chance.

Can I put the same name twice?

Yes. A name written twice gets two slices, so it has twice the chance of winning. That is a simple way to give someone extra entries.

Is my list saved?

Your list is saved in this browser only, on this device. When you share a link, the list is stored inside the link itself: nothing is sent to our servers.
